Sa mga fans nina Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales (EnRich), this piece of info is for you. At expected na sa kasalukuyang taon ito maipapalabas, possibly during the second half of 2010. Magiging successful kaya ang EnRich tandem sa kanilang pag-crossover on the big screen on their first movie team-up?
Heto ang ilang comments from Twitter congratulating Enchong’s performance on MMK:

The grand trailer premiere of the highly-anticipated Star Cinema movie, Ang Tanging Pamilya, starring Ai Ai delas Alas and former President Joseph Estrada was released minutes ago before ASAP’09.
Directed by Wenn Deramas, Ang Tanging Pamilya boasts of a once in a lifetime love team – the comedy queen Ai Ai delas Alas and the former Philippine president Joseph Estrada.
It will also reunite the kilig love team of Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby.
And introducing in the movie is no less than Manny Pacquiao’s mom, Aling Dionesia Pacquiao!
Ang Tanging Pamilya (A Marry-Go-Round) hits theaters on November 11, 2009.
After raking P20 million on its first day, the Star Cinema movie “In My Life” had a first week gross of P80 million. When it was reported that “In My Life” had a first day gross of P20 million, expectations started to pour in that this film could be the second Filipino movie to surpass the P200 million benchmark after “You Changed My Life.” The John Lloyd-Sarah monster hit movie last February had a first day gross of P18 million and it became the first Filipino film to surpass the P200 million mark at the box-office.
And now reports came that the Vilma Santos comeback movie has now earned P80 million on its first week run. P80 million for 7 days is a remarkable achievement already but it’s not enough for the film to go as far as P200 million.
Ai Ai delas Alas‘ movie “Ang Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat” surpassed the P100 million mark on its first week but ended up earning P197 million in its whole run. So the forecast for “In My Life” to surpass the much coveted P200 million in Philippine Box Office has just got a little bit dimmer.
What happened with You Changed My Life was, it became the talk of the town. People who have seen it on first week delivered the news to those who have not seen it yet that’s why the film is still strong on its second and third week of screening. Not to mention that it received a grade of “A” from the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) that enticed moviegoers somehow assuring them that it’s an excellent film.
For the case of “In My Life”, the buzz about the film became weaker although it’s still doing well at the box-office as of this post. But it somehow lost the potential to hit P200 million by virtue of its P80 million haul on its first week.
Maybe the removal of the much hyped, much-awaited and controversial (torrid) kissing scene between John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano hurt the film’s box-office potential a bit. And who could believe that the Cinema Evaluation Board only gave a “B” rating to this film that might have given the perception to movie-goers that it’s not an excellent movie, just a good one.
The Cinema Evaluation Board has given the Olivia Lamasan movie “In My Life” a fall-out-of-expectation grade of “B”
While the Regal Films horror movie Tarot was given the highest grade of “A” by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) three weeks ago, the highly anticipated Vilma Santos film “In My Life” was only given a “B” rating.
In simple analogy, the CEB thinks “In My Life” is LESS superior than “Tarot.” Or Tarot is a better film than In My Life. What’s happening with the Cinema Evaluation Board?
But of course, we need to watch “In My Life” first to understand why the CEB has given it a lower rating than Tarot. If the critics lambasted the Regal Films horror movie, what would be their take in the ground-breaking Star Cinema film.
The Star Cinema romantic movie “And I Love You So” has grossed P36.3M in Mega Manila’s non-SM cinemas in the period of 2 weeks.
In the weekend screening of August 19 to 23, the Bea Alonzo starrer raked in P10.58 million to place third over-all beating the debut weekend of another Pinoy film Love on Line starring Vic Sotto.
Love on Line (LOL), on the other hand, debuted in 4th place with a Mega Manila box office gross of P10.16 million.
Leading the Philippine box office on the same period was Disney Pixar’s “Up”, which garnered a whopping P46.37 million in Mega Manila alone.
At no. 2 is the 3rd week screening of G.I. Joe with a box-office haul of P21.9 million. The action film’s 3-weeks gross is now a remarkable P140,916,591.70 in Mega Manila theaters alone.
Aliens in the Attic debuted in 5th place with P5.41 million while The Time Traveler’s Wife debuted in 6th place with P5.19 million.
Completing the Top 10 are The Hangover (7th), The Proposal (8th), The Orphan (9th) and the Thai movie Ong Bak 2 (10th).
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has now grossed P357.83 million in 9 weeks. On the other hand, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has now grossed P191.73 million in 6 weeks.
In celebration of Star Cinema’s 16th year anniversary comes an extraordinary story of everlasting love…
And I Love You So is an upcoming romantic drama starring Derek Ramsay, Sam Milby and Bea Alonzo.
Synopsis:
Lara (Bea Alonzo), a preschool teacher and owner, is widowed five months after she married her boyfriend of five years, Oliver (Derek Ramsay). Several months after his death, she meets Chris (Sam Milby), a young man also suffering from the loss of his spouse. They become friends and help each other move on. But as their friendship grows, their unmistakable attraction for each other grows.
Also starring Candy Pangilinan, Nikki Gil and Coney Reyes. Directed by Laurenti Dyogi, And I Love You So hits cinemas nationwide on August 12, 2009.
ABS-CBN’s film outfit, Star Cinema, has released their movie line-up for 2009.
Apparently, this line-up was shown during the premiere screening of Land Down Under in the US. Please take note that titles, cast and schedules are subject to change without prior notice.

You Changed My Life (A Very Special Love Part 2) Starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo
Due to the success of the Viva Films and Star Cinema co-production “A Very Special Love” which is the no. 1 movie in the country for 2008, they are filming the sequel entitled “You Change My Life.”
“You Change My Life” is the title of Miggy’s (John Lloyd Cruz) love song for Laida (Sarah Geronimo) in A Very Special Love. Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, they are now half-way through the filming of “You Change My Life.”
The original movie - A Very Special Love - earned a whopping P179.23 million at the box-office making it the no. 1 film in the Philippines for the whole year of 2008, even trumping Hollywood films like Iron Man and Twilight. Can they do it again this 2009?
“Wish ko lang po na hindi man nito ma-surpass ang A Very Special Love, mapantayan man lang nito ang kinita ng una naming movie ni John Lloyd,” Sarah’s reaction about the pressure of making the sequel.
A different angle is expected in the story of “You Change My Life”. The couple will be facing their individual problems and a third party will challenge their romantic affair. Playing the third wheel is young actor/dancer Rayver Cruz.
It will be recalled that Rayver is currently being linked to the pop princess. Rayver even guested in Sarah’s ‘The Next One’ concert in Araneta Coliseum last November 8, 2008.
In reaction to this news, Rayver simply said, “Di pa ako nag-i-start pero nakakatuwa naman kung kasali nga. Ang tambalan nila [Sarah and John Lloyd], sobrang lupit.
You Change My Life is set to premiere on February 25, 2009 in theaters nationwide.

Kumporme rito ang producer, dahil after 25 years, kailangan daw muling mapanood ang pelikula with a new cast.

Tuloy na tuloy na ang Valentine movie nina Richard Gutierrez at KC Concepcion next year from GMA Films and Regal Entertainment.
Gabi ng Miyerkules, May 21, isang biglaang invitation ang natanggap ng Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) mula sa Corporate Communications Department ng GMA-7 saying, "tuloy na ang contract signing tomorrow of Richard and KC and Direk Joey [Reyes] tomorrow 11 am at the 16th floor Board Room."
Kasunod nito ay nakatanggap kami agad ng tawag sa Project Development Manager and Head of Synergy ng GMA Films na si Noel Ferrer. Ang una naming tinanong sa kanya ay kung "naayos" na ang lahat for the contract signing to push through. Oo raw, so all is set for GMA Films to announce its separate project with Richard and KC.
IMPOSSIBLE DREAM. Mula pa sa simula, everyone wanted to see Richard and KC on screen but it seemed an impossible dream. Richard is an exclusive GMA Films artist at si KC, ipinahayag na noon na pipirma sa Star Cinema as an exclusive artist.
Making the Richard-KC team-up happen began in an early morning talk nina Noel Ferrer and Joey Abacan, VP for GMA Program Management. They wanted to suggest the idea to Star Cinema.
Sinundan ito ng public pronouncement ni GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar, when she said that GMA Films is open to the possibility of a co-production deal with Star Cinema. The next move was for GMA Films to pursue this co-production initiative along with KC's managers, Sandra Chavez and Shirley Kuan. And, in a way, tumulong na rin pareho sina Richard at KC sa pagiging vocal nila pareho na sana nga ay magkaroon ng isang pelikula na magkasama sila.
THE DEAL. A deal was set between GMA Films and Star Cinema.
First ang pagpirma ni KC as an exclusive talent with a three-picture contract.
It was also announced that the Star Cinema movie will be directed by Ms. Joyce Bernal and that some of the scenes will be done in Greece.
Naghintay muna ng dalawang linggo ang kampo ng GMA Films bago magbigay ng sariling announcement dahil nasa Europe pa si Annette, nasa Dubai si Richard for his new show, Codename: Asero, at busy naman si KC sa UN work niya sa Marawi.
Tuesday, May 20, of this week na-set ang announcement. But some technicalities surfaced na kailangang ayusin about the contract of KC sa Star Cinema kung kaya't na-postpone ito.
"WHEN I MET YOU." Wednesday, May 21, natuloy naman ang story conference and pictorial nina Richard at KC for their Star Cinema project. Meanwhile, the talks continued between GMA Films and Star Cinema para maayos ang ilang gusot and, presumably, all went well for GMA Films to do its own announcement Thursday morning, May 22.
Sa background, pinapatugtog ang kantang "When I Met You." We later found out na ito pala ang magiging title ng pelikula na nina Richard at KC, na isinulat at ididirehe ni Direk Joey Reyes, na nasa grounds na rin at hinihintay ang pagdating nina Richard at KC.
According to Direk Joey, When I Met You is a "sweeping romance" about the joy of being young, alive, and in love. Basically, sabi niya, it is everything that's beautiful in the world.
When I Met You is scheduled to open February 11, 2009. Like the first four Valentine movies of Richard—Let The Love Begin, I Will Always Love You, The Promise, and My Best Friend's Girlfriend—it will be co-produced by Regal Entertainment.
The latest James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, topped Philippine Box Office last weekend while Star Cinema’s “My Only You” earned P62.2 Million on its 2nd week run.
My Only You is currently at no. 10 in the list of biggest pinoy movies for 2008, just right after Mag-Ingat Ka Sa Kulam which ended its run with a gross of P64.26 million. The Vhong Navarro-Toni Gonzaga movie is currently on track to surpass My Big Love’s (which also starred Toni Gonzaga) P68 million and Supahpapalicious‘ (which also starred Vhong Navarro) P66.98 million.
My Only U received a grade of “B” from the Cinema Evaluation Board.
Philippine Box Office (November 5-9, 2008)
1. Quantum of Solace - P53.63 M 2. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa - P30.37 M 3. My Only U - P15.34 M 4. High School Musical 2: Senior Year - P3.29 M 5. Max Payne - P581,446.03 6.
Aside from Zanjoe and Nor, kasama rin sa movie sina Dimples Romana, Dido dela Paz, at Kristalyn Engle.
The box-office tandem of Vhong Navarro and Toni Gonzaga will grace the silverscreen one more time with "My Only U".
Vhong and Toni's first movie together was the outrageous comedy "D Anothers" in 2005. The Joyce Bernal-helmed movie was a box-office hit.
This time, Star Cinema will bring Toni and Vhong again in the romantic comedy that is part of the film production’s 15th year anniversary offering.
Vhong's previous movies under Star Cinema were “Agent X44″ opposite Mariel Rodriguez and Pokwang; and Supahpapalicious opposite Valerie Concepcion earlier this year.
Toni’s previous movies were “You Are the One”, “You Got Me” and “My Big Love”, with Sam Milby as her leading man.
"My Only U" is helmed by box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina, the one responsible for the monster hits "One More Chance" starring John LLoyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo; and "A Very Special Love" starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo.
