“Paano Na Kaya?” Losses Steam, Box Office Cume to Date Only P77.5 M

Geral Anderson, Kim Chiu, Kimerald, Paano na kaya Trailer, Star Cinema
Posted by antoine on February 23, 2010

Mukhang di na aabot sa projected na P100M to P120M box office gross ang Star Cinema movie, its very first offering for 2010, — ang “Paano Na Kaya.” Sa third week nito in theaters, according to the recent results published by Box Office Mojo, nakakuha lamang ang Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson starrer ng P77.5 million. And since magbubukas na soon ang panibagong pelikula ng Star Cinema, the John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo reunion movie titled “Miss You Like Crazy,” malabo nang i-extend pa ang PNK. Disappointed kaya ang Star Cinema dahil di man lang nakaabot ang pelikula sa lower end ng kanilang expectation?

“Paano na Kaya” premiere turns out to be a great success

Geral Anderson, Kim Chiu, Kimerald, Paano na kaya Trailer, Star Cinema
by Heidi Anicete | January 27, 2010 8:22 AM

Hundreds of screaming fans arrived at the SM Megamall last night to catch the premiere night of Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu’s latest movie, Paano na Kaya. Aside from the certified Kimerald fanatics, the said mall’s Cinema 10 was also filled with several notable stars in the industry to personally show their support not only to the cast, but also to the renowned director, Ruel S. Bayani, of Star Cinema’s latest offering.

SNN host Kris Aquino herself attended the said event together with her whole family. And according to her, it is in fact a movie worth watching. She is truly amazed at how Gerald and Kim personified their corresponding characters. And based on the movie itself, she simply couldn’t deny how genuinely talented the two young stars are.

Aside from their fans and friends, Gerald and Kim’s families were also present during the momentous event. And just like everybody else, they all ended up being awed by the film’s success. By the end of the film, even Gerald’s father couldn’t help expressing how proud he is of his son’s great accomplishment through a big old hug while saying “I would not have missed this for the world.”

Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) had given Paano na Kaya a “B” rating. And starting January 27, people can watch the said film in their favorite theaters, nationwide.
