Praybeyt Benjamin Grosses P110 Million in 4 Days, Report Says


“Praybeyt Benjamin,” dubbed as the hard-core comedy of the year, has raked in P110 million on its first 4 days of screening according to reports.

According to Star Cinema, the movie has raked in P110-million in ticket sales from its opening day last October 26 up to last Saturday, October 29, 2011.

Vice Ganda, the lead star of the movie, thanked the moviegoers who made his movie a box-office hit in less than a week.

“Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng hindi nagpakabog sa pila ng Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin. Bonggang-bongga blockbuster hit. Patuloy pa rin ang mga taong pumipila kaya nagpapasalamat ako,” he said.

The comedian also announced that more theaters were added nationwide to accommodate expected demand for the long holiday weekend.

“Sa SM pa lang kanina, yung SM Cinemas nag-tweet na 100 cinemas na ang binuksan nila. SM pa lang iyon. Sa buong Pilipinas, 10,000 cinemas na po ang nakabukas ngayon. Maa-accomodate na kayong lahat,” he added.

‘Enteng ng Ina Mo’ – Vic Sotto & Ai Ai delas Alas – Teaser


The Box-Office King and Box-Office Queen join forces in an MMFF movie that will challenge all box-office records.

The “Enteng Kabisote” movie franchise plus the “Tanging Ina” movie franchise combined into one Metro Manila Film Festival entry equals a once in a lifetime movie event of the year!

“Enteng ng Ina Mo” stars Box-Office King Vic Sotto and Box-Office Queen Ai Ai delas Alas and it’s slated to be shown on December 25, 2011 as part of the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival.

‘No Other Woman’ Hits P267.1-M in 4 Weeks


The Viva Films and Star Cinema co-production “No Other Woman” is certified the highest-grossing movie in Philippine box-office history.

“No Other Woman” raked in an additional P16.85 million on its 4th week of screening and has accumulated a total of P267.1 million at the box-office as of October 25, 2011 according to third party tabulator Box Office Mojo. It had a first 5 days gross of P93.23 million which is supposed to be the best opening performance by a Filipino movie this year, however, there are reports that the comedy flick “Praybeyt Benjamin” starring Vice Ganda has broken this record by virtue of its P110 million earnings in just 4 days.

“No Other Woman” is currently the no. 1 highest-grossing Filipino movie of 2011 so far and also the highest-grossing of all time.

‘No Other Woman’ Grosses P161.49-M in 2 Weeks


“No Other Woman” topped Philippine box-office for the second week in a row by virtue of its P55 million gross last opening weekend of October 5 to 9, 2011. Its 2-week total is P161.49 million as of last Tuesday, October 11, 2011.

“No Other Woman” is now the no. 1 top-grossing Pinoy movie for 2011 so far outplacing Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson‘s “Catch Me…I’m In Love” which is now at no. 2.

The Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes starrer is now the fifth higest-grossing movie in the Philippines for 2011 outperforming Hollywood movies such as “Pirates of the Caribbean 4″, “X-Men First Class,” “Captain America,” “Green Lantern” and “Fast Five.”

Earlier this week, Roxy Liquigan of Star Cinema Advertising and Promotions announced that “No Other Woman” has already grossed P210 million at the box-office.

‘No Other Woman’ Hits P93.23-M in 5 Days


The Viva Films-Star Cinema romantic drama “No Other Woman” grosses P93.23 million on its first 5 days of screening.

The figure came from third party tabulator Box Office Mojo which is not far from Star Cinema’s estimate of P100 million 5-day opening gross.

By virtue of its P93.23 million box-office gross in less than a week, “No Other Woman” is definitely breaking all box-office records in Philippine history!

In fact, there is a report from Star Cinema Advertising and Promotions director Roxy Liquigan that the Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay, and Cristine Reyes starrer has already grossed P210 million as of October 11, 2011 (2 weeks).

“No Other Woman” is now the second Filipino movie to surpass the P200 million box-office mark and it’s now on track to become the highest grossing Pinoy film of all time if it will break the record of “You Changed My Life” which is P225.21 million.

‘No Other Woman’ Grosses P100-M in 5 Days


Star Cinema and Viva Fims’ co-production “No Other Woman” surpassed the P100 million mark on its 5th day of showing.

The romantic drama “No Other Woman” which stars Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes is said to surpass the P100 million mark last night according to Star Cinema’s AdProm director Roxy Liquigan.

The Ruel Bayani-helmed movie was rated A by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB).

It’s interesting to note that “No Other Woman” cancelled its premiere night last Tuesday, October 27, because of typhoon Pedring but on its opening day last Wednesday, it reportedly raked-in an impressive P15-million at the box-office.

By virtue of its P100 million gross in less than a week, “No Other Woman” is set to take the no. 1 slot in the top grossing Pinoy films for 2011 list.
