‘Catch Me…I’m In Love’ Hits P108.38-M in 3 Weeks
The Sarah-Gerald movie is currently the highest-grossing film (both Hollywood & local) in Philippine box-office for 2011 so far.
For the weekend opening period of April 6-10, 2011, the Star Cinema romantic comedy has raked in P11.89 million, bringing its 3-weeks total to P108.38 million.
“Catch Me…I’m In Love” is also the only film to have surpassed the P100 million mark at the box-office, so far.
The animated film “Rio” captured the no. 1 spot in PHL’s box-office last weekend with a haul of P24.58 million. “Roommate” debuted at no. 3 while “Hall Pass” opened at no. 5.
There are rumors that “Tum: My Pledge of Love” starring Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez flopped big time at the box-office but there’s no official statement yet from Star Cinema regarding this matter.
